Menu items - putting navigation for more than one section on a page [solved]

Post by redstarcreative »

Hi

This is a bit of a tricky one to describe... but here goes!

Say for example I have the following navigation:

-Home
-Dogs
--Labrador
--Alsation
--Mongrel
--Terrier
-Cats
--Persian
--Siamese
--Manx
--Moggy

What I would like to do on my home page, is have a dogs title, and then write out underneath it, links to all the pages in that category, and the same for cats, etc.

I know in a section, I can use a Menu Template to do this, but is there any way I can use the menu template on my home page, and tell it to display all the child pages of 'Dogs'?

Many thanks

Darren

Please take a look at MenuManagers help - there are wonderful parameters like start_page, start_element and start_level :).

Thanks Cyberman - I've got to work on another project this afternoon but I will be giving that a go tomorrow.  :)
