[SOLVED]Newbie here - Esshop (1.0.1) error

Post by hawarkarem »

Hi all,

While uploading a product with this module I recieve this error:

Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to access /customers/rafflesbizarre.co.uk/rafflesbizarre.co.uk/httpd.www/cmsmadesimple/uploads/images/products_pictures/bracelet1.jpg in /customers/rafflesbizarre.co.uk/rafflesbizarre.co.uk/httpd.www/cmsmadesimple/modules/esshop/includes/admin/products.php on line 109
Failed to upload file to the server. Make sure server allows you to write files on it

Now my server does allow me to write files on it but I'm a newbie so I'm probably wrong. Those URLs or Paths look a bit funny...is it that thats causing the error?

The permissions on my esshop folder is 755...should I change that?

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

Looks to me like the folder isn't writeable...or not there at all

So make sure you have a folder in the CMSmadesimple uploads/images folder called products_pictures and that the permissions are either 775 or 777 (try 775 first... it's more secure).

Cheers

Excellent!

You were right...I assumed it created the folder for me. Thank you very very much. Works fine now. :)

btw, should I re-edit the title of this thread to solved? or will it be done for me?
