How to upgrade to 1.1 [SOLVED]

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

How do I upgrade to 1.1? I'm currently using 1.0.2.

Many thanks

Salut Josette,

The most important is to backup and to be able to restore, both database and special folders (uploads, modules).
And then usual instructions apply. Read release notes also.

Beware some old module may not be 1.1.x compatible. I hope you haven't installed such unmaintained modules.
It is safer to upgrade step by step with all versions (your 3 last steps being ->1.0.8->1.1->1.1.1) You can try to upgrade directly to latest stable (1.1.1 today) but depending of the age of your 1.0.2 it may not work so make backups.

If you experience some trouble, please report it precisely with information about your infrastructure (hosting, OS, warnings, etc.)

Salut Pierre

Many thanks for the help. One small issue, the menu is not showing up at all - it's find in the back end but not showing on the site. Any thoughts.

Many thanks

Sorry Pierre, hold on the last problem, my mistake - think I've resolved. Will post if so.

Thanks again
