{solved}I dont seem to have a editor when I go to edit pages

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Which CMSms version do you are using? Have you set an editor as your wysiwyg editor? Allows your browser Javascript?

Hi,

Thanks for helping..

I'm using version 1.1.1

How do I set wysiwgy editor?

What do you mean by 'Allows your browser Javascript?' , I have javascript enabled on my browser if thats what you mean (sorry for being a noob :))

Go to admin panel, menu My Preferences > User Preferences and choose WYSIWYG editor in field "Select WYSIWYG to use". After submitting editor should work with pages.
I have javascript enabled on my browser
I see you understand :) ...

Have you gone to permissions to make sure you have permission to use it...

Users & Groups » Group Permissions... admin....

To add another editor... go to Extensions » Module Manager click F, download&install...

Or go to Development tab above to get it from Forge...

one last thing it said 'Be sure to set "Modify FCKeditorX" permissions to use this module!' after I installed it, how do I that?
