Hi:
I'm using CMS v1.1 on a Linux server, using PHP. The site I'm working on will be in French and English. http://www.webalacarte.ca/~akebc/index.php
first question:
Can I create a folder for the english pages and a folder for the French ones? if so any suggestions?
Second questions:
Currently the template uses the top menu + left submenu option which I've modified. After review the client's content (primarily a list of links to external sites), I realized that the top level submenu need to be sections headers that can expand to show the menu/pages within. Very much like as explained in http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/User_Handbook/Admin_Panel/Layout/Menu_Manager#section_expand
If I create a new menu template, will i still be able to use my menu_vert stylesheet to this new template? how do i attach my stylesheet to it?
if this is not the best way to go, any suggestions?
I'm a scaredy cat, I like to understand the steps fully before I proceed as Time is of the essence.
third question:
i changed one of the content pages to section header and back again (Pre-School). but now, when you click on Pre-School, the page opens in a new window. How did that happen and how can I fix it?
thank you in advance. sorry for being so demanding.
menu headers that are clickable
Re: menu headers that are clickable
Did you by any chance make it a link type content with blank as the target at one time, if so go back and make it a link type then make the Target: none...
Actually it looks like that is what you did, you may want to just make it a section header, or better yet a real page or a link w/o a place to go in the URL try a #... most of those style menus have all pages in them and not section headers, IE needs a real link as in www.something.com in the link line to work, did I happen to mention I hate IE...

Re: menu headers that are clickable
Hey Mark:
first thank you for you help with the search option. it worked.
second, yes you are correct. I did change it to a link type content with blank URL field and none for target. but when i changed it back to regular content, it now opens the page in a new window.
any thought on expandable section header template?
and yes, i hate IE. don't get me started.
