To create profile pages for users? I know a fair amount of HTML, but very little PHP as I am currently teaching myself. Basically I want users who sign up to my website to have a profile page and a small profile banner, (much like on Gamespot) with features like;
Favourite Project(s) (As my website is Media based users can add there favourite Games/Shows/Songs to a small section on there profile for others to see)
Gender
Age
Username
Avatar
And other pieces of information the user would like to share. But How would I go about doing something like this? What tags should I use, and otherbits of information I made need to know, including whether I'd need to learn some scripting languages.

Hello,
if you want registered front end users, give a try to the front end users (FEU) module. You may also like "custom content" and "self registration".
I'm not sure these will be ok for your needs, but there are "uploads" and "banner" as well.
