Is there a counter somewhere that tells how many CMSMS installations exist?

Hello,

before we discuss an autoupdate feature :
If each install-generated config.php had a serial number
and if the admin console issued an optional little http "call home" when the admin logs in (to warn if a newer stable version is available)
then there would be some "at east N administered running installs" information.

You can make a look at CMSms Forge (download counter) - 178000 downloads (not installs) speaks vor himself ...
