upgrade to 1.1., TINYMCE and other rich-text wysiwig editors no longer working

Hi all,

upgraded to 1.1

suddenly all rich text editing is gone!

installed tinyMCE through control panel

made it all 777 just in case

gave myself permissions to use it (my user name)

even have it display that "check box" to let me turn it on/off

then set it in user preferences as my editor of choice

but it never shows up

so, this is just a little demo site for me to play with, not for clients or anything, so it's not the end of the world

but still, i have several clients on older versions and would like to upgrade them without it being a problem....

let me know what anyone's noticed.

OK, further testing
I've deleted & re-installed all files

fckeditor is working now, but still not tinymce.

If anyone has a similar issue, drop me a line.

have you uninstalled or actually deleted the files from the server ?

when i was trying to get the news module working i found un-installign and re-installing was not enough, a quick delete of the xml from the server and a further re-install was all it needed
