Installation help needed please

Hi all
      i am new to this forum but have been reading the installation files ect for the last couple of days
and tonight tried to install cms

CMS1.1 MySQL4.0 My web host 1&1 upload by ftp

i did the setup as the instuctions said changed file permissions. and all seemed ok every think said installed but i can not gain entry to admin and have no site

thanks in advance coz i must have messed up some where

If you entered all the required info such as name, password etc. and you gave it the right database name and password then when you see...

Congratulations, you are all setup - here is your CMS site the blue underlined here should take you to your home page and it has a link to the admin, like this site...

http://cmsmsdemo.multiintech.com/  the admin for it is http://cmsmsdemo.multiintech.com/admin/login.php

using the above examples you should be able to get to your site and login...

I've used 1&1 extensively for multiple sites...

Hi all
    Just to let every one know i have just done a full install database/cms and all is working fine this time

so i must have done somthing wrong first time around

but i think the learning has just started so i bet ill be back asking for help
