I searched but did not know exactly what to search for. My problem is global content blocks worked when I created the content before upgrade 1.1. Now I can not edit the blocks. When submit is clicked a blank page is returned. Clicking the back button in the browser returns to the original copy of he content block and changes are not made. I thought it was a WYSIWYG problem but the problem is still present when the WYSIWYG is turned off in user preferences.
I just checked and the same problem occurs while creating new content.
CMSMS 1.1
System
PHP Version 5.2.3
Linux 2.6.9-42.EL
Apache Version Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) PHP/5.2.3 mod_throttle/3.1.2 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_psoft_traffic/0.2 mod_ssl/2.8.28 OpenSSL/0.9.7a
Am I the only one having this problem?
Does anyone have any suggestions?

When you upgrade you may need to go to Users & Groups » Group Permissions > admin and check for all clicked boxes...

Re: Global Content Blocks editing problems
Hi,
I think I'm having the exact same problem.
It's very odd and annoying.
To edit a block I now have to go to the edit page, select all, copy, go back, delete the original content block and then create a new one, edit and paste the info in.
Not fun.
It seems that creating new blocks is fine, it's just the editing that ends up at a blank page.
If anyone has any idea what this is, please help!!!!!
Cheers.

Works for me, well only if I hit the submit button and not apply, but I'm not sure what the hosting servers are using...
Re: Global Content Blocks editing problems
Still no solution???
Today I upgraded to 1.1.1 I uploaded the full install files not the diff file thinking my original upload may have been corrupt. Thinking it could be a FCKeditor problem I now use TinyMCE. My work around has been to edit through phpMySql for blocks previously created and creating UTD when creating new blocks.
I have noticed that only 1 other user with this problem so I assume content blocks works. Mark what do you mean when you said

Because I uploaded a complete version 1.1.1 could this be a database problem?Works for me, well only if I hit the submit button and not apply, but I'm not sure what the hosting servers are using...
