When running upgrade.php --->>> Parse error: syntax error, [NEARLY SOLVED]

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

When running upgrade.php --->>> Parse error: syntax error, [NEARLY SOLVED]

Post by Gregor »

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade to version 1.1, comming from version 1.08
When I run upgrade.php I get the following error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '/' in /home/gregor/domains/uisge-beatha.eu/public_html/install/upgrade.php on line 224
I already tried to re-upload all files via ftp. No luck.

I saw a closed topic with the same error. I tried the mentioned suggestion. No luck.

Any help is really appreciated!

Thanks,
Gregor

I don't know why it came up to me to download the tar-file and try that one instead of the zip-file I used in first place. I have no software to check if there are any differences, but the site is up :)

Someone who could do a diff on both files???

Thanks,
Gregor
