Hey guys,
I'm just announcing my plans to release an open source cart based upon CMSMS. To date I have not found a cart that is easily customizable. They are plagued with poorly integrated features and terrible customization options. My goal is to basically mimic the CMSMS back-end with a shopping cart. A module will be written for CMSMS that will allow integration with the cart.
Right now I'm looking for anyone who would be interested in development, design & testing of the cart.
If you have any questions interest you can post them at: http://forums.sellingmadesimple.org
edit - Oops, I meant to post this in The Lounge. Mods feel free to move it if you want.

Re: Open source cart based on CMSMS
We probably won't have a release for at least a month or so. Keep an eye out on our forums: http://forums.sellingmadesimple.org.
Attn Developers: We just got our SourceForge page up. You can find it at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/simpleselling

Re: Open source cart based on CMSMS
What a fantastic idea!
I am not a programmer, but I can certainly help out with testing and design and trying to "break" things if you need help.
I also have a programmer coming on board with me who is learning CMSMS, and if we can help in that dept, let me know.
