Is some open source system being used on blog.cmsmadesimple.org and is there a module similar? blog made simple just isn't cutting it.
Thanks.

Re: blog.cmsmadesimple.org
I have been test driving blogmadesimple for possible use on our schools website, but there are a couple of things I don't understand enough that might cause me to have to NOT use it. One problem is cosmetic, the other more of a security thing.
On the cosmetic side, when I create blog discussions and put them on a content page, they are all run together as in no spacing between each one making them look kind of bad and I don't really know which blog templates to edit to add spacing either at the top or bottom of what is listed on a user access page for gettnig into the blog. I have the same problem in the blogs themselves with all user input being place with no spacing between each posting. I can manually put a blank line in at the top or bottom of each post, and it looks pretty good, but all users won't know or do this. Can anyone shed some light on how to get these looking better?
On the security side, since this is a school blog, I would like to have it so that only our students or authorized or registered users to the blog can post. Is this doable? Or is it just a free for all? I fear that people that shouldn't be included in a blog discussion that a teacher might set will be posting and it will become a PR problem with the public with regard to students and inappropriate material.
Thanks for any understanding that anyone can bring to this topic for me.
