Site Crashed when moving

First of all, I would like to acknowledge that I am stupid.

I was trying to move my cmsms site from the cmsms folder to the root of my site so that I could go live with it.  Ofcourse without reading how to I thought I could just copy all the files into root folder.  Well, when I did the site crashed.  I am not getting any errors, but the site will not load.  It loads the logo, and a flash file from the template, but that is it.  It does not even load the site title.

All of the admin still works, but nothing is displaying.  The admin even shows all of my content and such.  It is wierd.

I have tried doing a backup and restore, but it just gives me the same thing.

I decided to start all over with a fresh install. So don't worry about it.

you should just edit your config.php file and then it should work again. if you still have a backup of your database, i would give it a try.

Simon is right : each move requires a config.php adaptation (paths...)
And clearing the cache before and after the move helps too.
