Formbuilder problems

After spending almost all day searching the forum and trying out all kinds of examples, I have not been able to get Formbuilder to produce forms in the way that I want them.

There are a lot of questions about the layout but never a clear answer. Call me stupid but I am not able to come up with an answer/ solution myself.

Are there any tutorials that are correct and that cover all aspects of this? Are there any templates perhaps that can be used freely?

Any answer that pushes me towards the answer is appreciated

I am having the same kind of problem.  For me I wanted multiple radio buttons and checkboxes on the same line of the form, which is really easy to do with a table format, but seems very hard to achieve using a combination of CSS and Form Builder.  Now I readily admit that I am new to CSS, but many of the CSS examples I try don't seem to work for me using the combination of CSS and Form Builder.

What are you trying to do specifically ?  Maybe if you give more details of what you want someone will help.

As for me, I am currently looking at Joomla and Phil-A-Form, it looks like you can easily control the exact format of the form using custom layouts.  Does anyone here have any advice for me on how to achieve the same thing in CMSMS ?  Can I write my own form any way I like and then have a custom form handler ?  If so, can anyone point me to an example of this to get me started ?  Any other suggestions ?

For me, as a total non-coder, I am having problems with the way this module is explained. It just doesn't seem to make any sense to me. And as soon as I start to try all kinds of things it seems like everything I do keeps messing things up even worse.
Like the layout. I dont have a clue on how to get that done. Very time consuming and very frustrating.

Therefor I am looking for templates that people alredy made and that can be used by opthers freely or a tutorial "FormBuilder for Dummies".
