WHERE TO FIND config.php? STUCK ON STEP ONE

Post by ronny »

Hello sir/madam,

Thanks for the good work you are doing, well, i have tried to upload the CMS made simple again but am stuck on step one. see it here http://cms4.gicug.com

When i try to open the page, it says the following error below  as you will when you open it

Checking write permission on /customers/gicug.com/gicug.com/httpd.www/cms4/config.php

On cms4 there is no file config.php, is it supposed to be there?

I will be so glad to hear from you in future

hello,

If I remember me, you must be create a empty config.php (open a edit TXT and name config.txt anf after upload on your server, rename config.php) and CHMOD 777 (must be changing after) ; I think it's ok.

Or see on your "install" directory.

Yup, use notepad or something and create an empty file. save as config.php. ftp it to your root cmsms install dir and make sure it writeable, and then it should work fine.
