Yep, the module works.  It's currently in use in production.  so it works well.

It requires the CGExtensions module
you may not have that yet.

I think it doesn't work with newer versions of JW FLV PLAYER (that's the new name), but the author seems not to be available or interested in fixing this or whatever.

It's a pity since the module would be very cool, but I can understand if the author is busy helping with CMSms 1.1 and 2.0...

these look like the default templates, which is good.

but it looks like you haven't entered the appropriate paths and urls into the preferences tab of the FLVPlayer
otherwise, the video would show.

that's what i don't understand... paths are correct.
that's the path to the player: http://www.adena.ch/flv_player/flvplayer.swf
if you click on it, it's showing up.

anyway... do i have to install the player? i downloaded the player here: http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=JW_FLV_Player

and copied it like that on the ftp. is that correct?

yep... looks like there is version issues... i installed the 3.2, and almost seems to work! :)
i've got the player now, but no video playing.

i'm getting closer here,

jd

edit: i contacted daniel w, and he told me he used the 3.7 version! unfortunatly, it's no more available on jeff's (developer) website! has someone this 3.7 version?

YES.... i did it!  ;D

so, the module is working with the 3.2 version player, available here:
http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=JW_FLV_Player

in the pref, write the url of the player's folder, like that: http://www.yourdomain.com/flv_player/

jeez, i achieved it in only a week! ;)

jd

p.s. thanks calguy & kwurzel!

Hi,

As i looked as your code,

just remove the '/' at the end of the player location
(http://www.adena.ch/flv_player//flvplayer.swf)

Regards

Also, a little bug (as i can see on my install) :
the search box is not set properly :
<input name="submit" ....
Must be :
<input type="submit" ....

if not, no button is generated...
