Mailinglist for Updates

Post by curana »

Hi,
I cant find a mailinglist or notification list for CMS-Updates. Is there one? If no, I would appreciate one :)

Just a very simple system which lets the subscriber know, if there is a new important update to CMSMS.

Thanks for your attention.

Nothing easier like that. You have only to use a rss reader.

The informations (news releases, updates) will be releases to the first as an entry in blog. This one provides an RSS Feed, which can be read by many software e.g. in a Firefox sidebar or so other).

If you want to be notified every time there's a new release ( then you can subscribe to the Core releases in the Forge.

Go to http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/cmsmadesimple/ and click on the little envelope picon next to the latest stable file releases and sign up.
Then you'll get an email each time a  new stable relase is made - about every 3 days at the moment ;-)
You can get notifications of all the updates in the Forge this way.

If you're feeling really lazy then this is the link to monitor core releases:
http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/frs/monitor.php?filemodule_id=1&group_id=6&start=1

If you want mail and you use Outlook you can use RSSPopper. It's free  ;D

If all else fails, use a bigger hammer.
