Show off section, new site www.pact.ie
The menu isn't 100% compliant in that it is a bit java-scripty, but it does work cross-browser. Thoughts, ideas, and comments welcome.
PACT site
Re: PACT site
Yeah, very nice! Looks like you got all your menu issues figured out (assuming that is the one we were messing with a week or two back).

Re: PACT site
Yeah, and thanks for the help and the point in the right direction. The implementation is a bit arsey, but it works in the end, and gives nice menus.
I was thinking on the validation part of it, some of the problems seem to be coming from the printable page code, where would one go and ammend this page to make it more html valid?
Also, some ideas I had for furture releases:
Some way of keeping formatting/indentation of HTML in the html window in the admin, so it is readable code.
Custom Error pages, if a page isn't found, or a smarty error of some sort occurs, that could be attached to a template and look part of the site.

Re: PACT site
This one is pretty cool and even valid XHTML ... well done! However I had problems in IE5 (Win) where the menu "flees" from the mouse cursor. I assume it is a problem with the flyouts. Had similar problems with this menu so I decided not to use it. You might want to use a print CSS which is pretty easy to create, maintain and expand. And you do not need to care about a separate template and validation any more.

Yeah IE 5 is always a bear, will take a bit of tweaking to wrestle it back in.
Completely slipped my mind about the print stylesheet, solves all the problems, thanks for reminding me...

Actually, custom 404 errors exist. If you go into System Prefs, select Use Custom 404, Put in a meesage and select a template from the dropdown.
As for the tabbing in a textarea, I really don't know how you could do that... Interesting idea, though. I usually just copy and paste a series of 4 spaces to handle that.

Re: PACT site
Good job! If you get to fix the IE5 probs (could be a position-bug, if I am not mistaken) it will be perfect.
