'Questions' module - Adding author e-mail to input?

I've searched the CMSms forums through quite a bit to see if there were any answers to this question - Unfortunately, no one seems to have asked this yet I'd like to begin contributing back to the CMSms module community as well as become more well-rounded with programming the 'Smarty Engine,' and would be grateful to anyone that can offer a little insight...

I'm using the 'Questions' module ( http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/questions/ ) on my website, and would like to add the following functionality:

• A user may include their e-mail address if they would like to be notified when their question is answered
• An editor answers the question, and an e-mail is dispatched to the user to notify them
• A link is included in the e-mail that takes the user directly to their question on the website

[br]I'm rather quick to learn things, so I certainly wouldn't expect anyone to fully explain how to do this.

However, if some direction or examples could be given on what to look for/where to add code in the module, I would be extremely appreciative, and would contribute the final product back to this module's 'Forums' section.

To me this sounds like a forum module.
