What about xml-rpc ?

INSTALL file states:
"CMS uses the XML-RPC library written by Keith Devens"
...but I found no other mention of this library anywhere else...

What can it be used for ? Is there any sample somewhere ?

The only thing that's there is the included lib.  I've been wanting to make some hooks into the module api to use it, but haven't gotten around to it yet.  It would be great for things like the News module to post remotely, ala blog style.
