I did file some points earlier that weren't noticed.

Two other things I notice in "Content -> Pages".

- "re-order pages" isn't aligned besides "Add new content", but a line lower and to the right.
- In earlier releases I couldn't delete a parent, if I didn't delete the childs first (no trash-bin was shown). Now there still is no trashbin visible at a parent with childs, but the delete works through all levels down. I would expect a trashbin at the parent-level.

Also I checked the zip-file and that doesn't contain tinymce.

It seems to work fine in the (admittedly, limited) testing I've done so far; only the couple of small issues I've reported already.

Hello,

I've tried 1.1rc2 a little. Here is the feedback.

I've installed 1.1rc2 from scratch with sample content via SSH on a shared hosting (1&1).

I've seen the same "Search is not properly cleaning input params ... line 1500" warning in the top left of the site as previously reported by others.

I've seen an "install additional modules" clic after installation wizard completion. I'm not sure it is a good thing to throw newcomers straight to the module manager. I think they should use basic functions first and discover (additional) modules after.

I've made the install wih Javascript disabled and it has worked like a charm. The site is up and running OK. Well done !

I may have missed something : after step 5 of the install wizard and step 13 of the ssh install doc in the wiki, I can't find any other choice than "none" for the favorite WYSIWYG editor in user preferences. Hey, I thought TinyMCE was the default in 1.1. In extensions->modules, there is no WYSIWYG module (no Tiny, no FCK, no other). How is it there is no WYSIWYG editor with a default install ? What have I missed ? I'm the newbie today ;)

BTW, the requirements of doc/INSTALL.txt are not up to date to those in the wiki.

Hope this helps.

Pierre,

tinymce is missing from the zip-file of the installation, others noticed that too. I'm not sure if the tar-file holds it.

Okay:
  1) The warnings generated by the search module are fixed in SVN
  2) Oops about Tiny missing from the zip
  3) The problem with the french translation (as reported by others, and verified by tsw) is with the translation
(the translated strings already have htmlentities in them).
  4) Changes have been made to the articleprint.tpl stuff to correct the problems in there.

I think we're pretty much ready to rock with 1.1 as soon as the french translation is fixed.

CMSMS 1.1 current SVN revision 3988 with Apache + PHP 4.3

1. I test FrontEndUsers current SVN revison 178. Logon and display warning:
Warning: Parameter input_username is not known... dropped in /home/httpd/econtools/htdocs/XX/lib/misc.functions.php on line 1252

Warning: Parameter input_password is not known... dropped in /home/httpd/econtools/htdocs/XX/lib/misc.functions.php on line 1252

Warning: Parameter btn_login is not known... dropped in /home/httpd/econtools/htdocs/XX/lib/misc.functions.php on line 1252
Tomorrow I try with FrontEndUsers 1.2.0

When pressing "Apply" during editing, the error "undefined" as mentioned earlier is occuring, "submitting" is working correct. I upgraded from 1.0.6 to 1.1RC2 using the zip-file.

It works here. Same answer from moorezilla to MichaelK above.

BTW, I have used the .tar.gz file to be precise (not the zip).

Pierre M.

edit : I have installed from scratch, not upgraded from 1.0.x.

Did anyone else see the two points I mentioned earlier, or is it just my installation.....
