A new page permission for example per group and role would be very useful, especially for editing purpose.
A kind of logic that could be extended to a branch of pages.
I think that's the thing which would interest me most in CMS MS
Permissions & roles
Re: Permissions & roles
The same here, and then specifically the permission to modify all content below a given point. That way I can have different people to create/modify/re-order their sub-pages under that start-point.

Different people that get a role for team1, should only be able to do anything they want under their main-menu being "teams -> team1"

I forgot to mention a second interesting point in authorization purpose : that consists on the frond end side in having to login if needed for accessing a page and its resources (attachements)
Re: Permissions & roles
Is that not covered with FrontEndUsers and CustomContent?

You may be right, i weren't sure about and i admit i haven't tested yet. Are these plugins still maintained and are generally through the releases ?
Re: Permissions & roles
If you check the modules in dev, you'll see that both have a latest version of April 27th 2007, so quite recent. I don't work with them, but with FEU you can define logins for users, with CC you can give different menu's to different users/groups.
