MODULE (technical difficulties)

Post by fuquam »

What does it mean when a module displays the following within the admin and on the page?

"We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. We will try to fix the problem as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Sorry. Newsletter Made Simple & Text Embellisher. The thing is the modules seem to work fine but they display that technical difficulties message box on parts of the module's admin and on the page where the module is placed. I checked all permissions and they are fine.

Is it is because you have the ErrorEmailer module loaded and it is set to report errors? Quite a few changes in the new version can trigger errors with some (actually quite a few) modules. If you turn on debug (in config) you can see what the actual error is and then send in a bug for the module.

If you want to get rid of it turn it of in ErrorEmailer in Admin.
