Admin Login Problem

For some reason my admin password isn't working anymore. This is the only user set up for my site. I tried resetting the password explained in a couple other threads I've found where people were having the same problem. I know I'm entering the right password in because it takes me back to the same login screen except the "Username or password incorrect" message doesn't show up.

If there is no solution to this, would a reinstall work? If I reinstalled CMSMS and the template, would it still keep the old db and content I had before, or would I have to redo all of it?

I think a reinstall can work around it. But back up your database and upload/ folder.
It would be better to know what has changed to prevent you from login in. Is your admin browser still accepting transient session cookies ?
Remember back up is your friend.

Before you get carried away - make sure you haven't just turned cookies off - the admin area requires you to have them enabled, and if you don't you just get stuck at the login screen with no error message.
