Form Builder

Post by zingohotline »

Hi!

I´m new to CMSMS and i have installed the Form Builder module. I´ve created a form and the everything works fine on the final page. But i have some questions:
- Were do i put in the email adress that the form should post to?
- Were can i change the "Please enter a value for "Message" text, that pops up when a empty field is posted?
- Where do i found the CSS to style for example headers?

I would really appreciate your answers.

Hi Zingo,

FormBuilder is a fantastic module, once you get to know it  :) - which can take a while - as it did for me.
- Were do i put in the email adress that the form should post to?
Once you have added a new form and added all the fields you require, on the "main" tab there should be a area called "Form Status:" with the following text:

"Not Ready Please add a field to the form so that the user's input gets handled. You can use this shortcut to create a form handling field"

Once you have clicked on that link, name your field (this can be anything). In "Field Type" select "Email Results to set address(es)" - once this is selected you should see some more fields populated and thats where you enter details of "where the form should post to".
Were can i change the "Please enter a value for "Message" text, that pops up when a empty field is posted?
Return to the form "Main" page and click on the tab "Form Settings", then change the text inside the field "Text to return for unspecified field values:"
- Where do i found the CSS to style for example headers?
Not sure what you mean, please clarify.

Hope that helps!

Thank´s for your help, but i have some troubles left  :'(
- Were can i change the "Please enter a value for "Message" text, that pops up when a empty field is posted?

Return to the form "Main" page and click on the tab "Form Settings", then change the text inside the field "Text to return for unspecified field values:"
I did exactly that but the default text comes up anyway...

there is no default stylseheet for formbuilder forms, you'll have to start it yourself.

Just create a new stylesheet, attach it to your page template, and start styling away.
