How to be found with google

I've created some sites for new domains, but see that the keywords provided don't showup in google. How to make sure that the keywords used in the metadata make the page being found when those keywords are used in google.

Do you use the Google Webmaster Tools to register your sites with Google? If not, it's a good idea to use them, as it makes it easier to manage your page spidering and see how you're doing in the rankings. Also, the gsitemap mod is quite useful for Google submission through their Webmaster Tools.

As for keywords in the metadata, it's important for these words to appear in the body of your site for Google to give them any consideration, especially on the first (home) page. The more these words appear, the greater the "weight" given them in the ranking.

Meta data is one thing. May be with less and less weight.
URLs have some more weight. This is why they need to be pretty. (easy to print is another reason).
But content is what good spiders actually index.

So I'd say : the value of the content and the external links to it make its ranking.
