Upgrade...what am I missing?

OK folks I read through most of the posts and did my first upgrade on a small site. And I lost everything. All the graphics and stylesheets. So then I fixed the problems and then upgraded again. But this time just the upgrades (admin, doc, lib, plugins etc) and the same thing happened.

What the heck am I missing? I went form 1.05 to 1.06

just a quess but did you run install/install.php instead of install/upgrade.php

and all your images are in /uploads folder so dont remove it before you upload new files

without knowing what you did its just a guess
