Is there a way to sort the news summary in descending order without utilizing the {news} tag and sort option?
www.chowmaineguide.com
I'm using the {News} tag to create a most recent headline (just beneath the page header), and linking that to the story detail page.
If the user wants to access all of the stories, she must use the nav-link in bottom left column to open the news summary page by way of the "?page=news" directive. I couldn't really see a way to do this using the news tag.
So I'd like to sort the summary page without using the news tag sort option. Is this possible?
Thanks very much.

Re: News Summary Sort
Sieg,
what you can do if you want NEWS directly in the menu, is changing the content-type of the page to "News", you then can provide all parameters by just checking/unchecking as in the tag itself.

Ugh! Man, do I feel like a dolt.
I forgot that that menu page exists, and never looked there for the answer.
Thanks!
