How can I add an RSS feed to my website? do I need to install a module? if so, which one?

Thanks, that brings me to another question:

Are the modules I see in the module manager the ones available? Because this one does not show up there.

the rss module isn't an "import-able" xml file (which is what the module manager can import and install automatically), it's packaged as a zip file and needs to be uploaded to your server 'manually'

download the module and extract it on your local pc. find the RSS folder and upload that (and what's in it, retaining its folder structure) to your cmsms modules directory. then it will show up extensions->modules where you can 'install' it.

Doesn't the News module already provide an RSS feed ?
Or is it using the RSS module ?

Or is the RSS module only for pages ?

the news module *exports*, the rss module *imports*
