Cannot Paste From Microsoft Word

Server: Microsoft Server 2003, IIS 6, PHP 5.2, MySQL 5
CMS: 1.05
Editor: FCK
Browser: IE and Firefox
Word: 2007
I have full blown permissions and read/write. I own the server.

Problem:

Whether I'm pasting three words or two pages into FCK. I use the "Paste from Word" button, I paste into the new window and hit "OK". The content shows up in FCKeditor, and when I hit submit or apply I see, "No Content given!" and the changes aren't saved.

I've try copy/paste just the code. Some error.

I typed random text, submitted. The came back and copy/paste word doc, hit submit. It saved without an error, but then erases all content in page.

BTW, the same thing happens with TinyMCE!

Try using an older version of the .doc format (like 2003, 2006). I think I have read somewhere that MS Office 2007 has compatibility issues with other office packages (I could be mistaken) due to the new format.

You could use the other button called Paste as text. Paste from word never worked for me.

Just tried saving the doc as an older format and then pasting, still no luck. Tried pasting "plain text", no luck.

UPDATE

Rolled back to CMS version 1.04 sorta works now.

I can paste to a newly created page, and it will save. Once I edit the page and save again, it all disappears.

My client needs to be able to update these pages once they are created.
