Images and Albums

Hi,

I have just converted my site to CMS Made simple 1.0.4, everything seems ok except for my old images, i used to run a static site where i generated web albums using dreamweaver.
I now have hundreds of photos that i would like in the CMSMS system, however the album module seems to only let me upload 1 picture at a time ?
I have tried to use the imagegallery tag, but i cannot get the thumbs to show on this (do i have to generate thumbs independantly?).

Ideally the album module would be ideal if i could upload multiple images, or point it at a directory of images ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

using images you uploaded by ftp?  ensure the web server can write to the directories you uploaded the images to, and simply browse each one using the "image manager" in the admin panel. that will create/update the thumbnails used by the imagegallery tag. the imagegallery tag does not create (on its own) thumbnails that dont exist, it only uses the thumbnails that already exist.
