Holla.
I've tried to install CMSMS the first time on a Windows 2000 Server system with apche 2.2, PHP 5 and MySQL 5.
But the installation stucked at step four. These are the last outputs:
Creating event_handlers table sequence...[done]
Creating group_perms table sequence...[done]
Creating groups table sequence...[done]
Creating htmlblobs table sequence...[done]
Creating additional_htmlblob_users table sequence...
So I did't get any error-message. I have seen that I am not the only person who has problems at this point but I didn't find a fitting solution.
Please tell me what might cause this problem and how I can fix it.
Thank you very much.

Step 4 freezes at "Creating additional_htmlblob_users table sequence..."

Hello,
do you have another MySQL enabled application ? If yes, does it run ok ?
If no, you can try xampp to be sure to have a working MySQL.
Or may be your MySQL is badly tuned and you need more patience for the task to finish ?
Or can there be some Windows specific filesystem problem ?
If you have lots of RAM and disk space available, you can run LAMP in a VM. See VMware, they have a free player and a directory of preinstalled apps.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for your answer.
I used the MySQL GUI Tools to cofigure and the SQL-Server and grant the permissions to the CMS-User. There is no other stuff using SQL installed.
The system is only a Pentium I 133 MHz, 64 MB-RAM. Maybe that is the problem!
But it passed all the Test during the installation before! If I remember right, there were only two light yellow (->OK but not recomended).
Is it possible that the system is too slow?
This is the only stuff thats running on it: W2k-Server, Apache, MySQL, PHP.
Maybe this is much for such a system, but I think it should work. I don't want to get an award for the fastest system. The website I want to create is only I little one.

I don't think there is a problem with the hardware : there is enough power. But may be not for Windows ?
If you are resurrecting an old computer you should try Freesbie or Xubuntu and not bloat it with Windows.
You still can trying xampp. I still lightly think you have a MySQL problem rather than a CMSms problem. May be MySQL need special tuning on W2K. You should contact MySQL support and share your SQL logs with them.
