News Module

Post by shotb1 »

The News Module is not letting me enter a new item with the reason given as "No Content Given" even though I had entered content.

Has anybody else come across this problem before??

shotb1,

there are two content-areas in the news-entry. The first one is the summary (not required). The lower one is the detail-content (is REQUIRED). You might have typed in the first content-block, and not in the second (required) one.

How did you install, using the module manager, using xml-upload or unzip locally and then FTP. If I see a problem during install I allways switch to downloading the module, unzipping, FTP-ing and then, installing using the "extensions -> modules". That often solves the issue. I only had a problem with FCK when I changed the rights of the folder of FCK, so now I leave it as is after FTP.
