image thumbnail with clickable full view in popup

hey,
i just wanna ask about "made simple" way about this: I want to tell some unexperienced user howto embed image thumbnails, with an easy way to create a link to popup with "full view", that is larger image (the same filename, but without thumb_ prefix).

I showed my "unexperienced user" FCKEditor as a WYSWIG tool, but i can't find such option there. Since i'm using "plain text" mode for my own, i'm not that familiar with FCK and maybe somebody will give me a hint?

I'm thinking about using modyfied {image} tag as an alternative (i would add javascript for popup and code for link creation), but inserting this tag with source providing ain't that easy...

You can put small image with some link, and after , edit link in source mode and add some javascript

but i wanted it to be "automatic", without source editing. The lazy way, i would say - for complete computer laic...

You may want to try out the Album module. It has a Popup Tables template that you might find does what you want.
