paypal "buy now" button multiple quantity

Hi

Has anyone used the paypal "buy now" button and allowed multiple quantities. I have used it and discovered that the total amount shown on the first page the customer comes to is incorrect - the subtotal is correct but the total which includes the postage only calculates the amount for a quantity of 1, even if they select higher than 1. I have spoken with Paypal and they have given me a workaround where the quantity button is on my website rather than the paypal website. This workaround requires a bit more work for me and I don't think is as nice as having the quantity button on the paypal website itself, so I just wonder if anyone else has had this problem and what solution they have used.
