I've gotten SelfRegistration (v1.1.0) to work on my site, but I'm having a small problem and hope someone can point me in the right direction.
After a new user enters their information, the system sends the email containing two activation links.
Problem is that neither link works. Both take the user to the front page of the site and it ends there.
How do I resolve this problem?
(I'm using CMSMS v1.0.4)
Thanks for your help.

Re: SelfRegistration - Email Activation Link Does Not Work
It looks like it is a problem with the url in the activation/confirmation email.
If I manuallly change the '&' in the URLs to '&', then I do get to the confirmation page.
For example:
Change: http://www.site.com/index.php?mact=Self ... xx&page=xx
To: http://www.site.com/index.php?mact=Self ... xx&page=xx
How do I have the module send just & instead of &?
But I'm not sure what is causing the site not to interpret the & as &.
Any ideas?
Joe

Re: SelfRegistration - Email Activation Link Does Not Work
Could it be the "Pretty URLs" causing the problem?

Re: SelfRegistration - Email Activation Link Does Not Work
I am having the exact same problem. I have checked my config.php and pretty urls seems to be disabled.
I have not upgraded to the latest CMS MS, still running 1.2
I have opened up the SelfRegistration files to try and find where the URL is built, and seem to have found it, but that's where my ingenuity ends for now. I imagine all that is needed is to specify proper quotes (or lack of) when building the URL to make sure the Ampersands (&) stay genuine and not translated as such -> & amp ;
Any help would be greatly appreciated. The FEU and Self Registration is a great team.
Thank you!

Re: SelfRegistration - Email Activation Link Does Not Work
This is, in my experience not a problem with the software (lots of packages in CMS send emails)... but a problem with the mail client.
This problem was elcentro this week.. he noticed that if he sent the confirmation message to his groupwise address the urls were messed up..... but they all worked fine in hotmail or other email clients.
