confused over menus - SOLVED

Hello

A complete newbie here. very impressed with the tool but am experiencing a complete mental meltdown with the menu templates. can anyone help?

I have downloaded one of Andrea's templates. Changing the general look and feel has been easy. but with the menus I am confused.

In the page template there is the following: {cms_module module='menumanager' collapse='1'} What exactly does that mean?

I am trying to edit the look of the menu, but which style sheet is it attached too? There was no style sheet with the package.

Also, in an attempt to see what was going on, I tried changing the above code for the menu to one of the other menus in the default download. But it didn't change.

I'm obviously missing something. Something either needs to be attached or edited, but I can not see what it is.

I've just realised I may have been asking the wrong question!

The look of the menu is obviously controlled by the style sheet. What is controlling the numbering down the side:
1.
2
2.1
2.2

etc.

The numbers are controlled by how you organize the pages you add. When you add a page there is a line where you choose what submenu to add it to, default is none.

If you are seeing the numbering in the menu itself (rather than just the content/pages area), it probably means you haven't attached the accessibility stylesheet to the template.  The accessibility stylesheet causes the numbering to be hidden on the screen but available as audible navigation cues.  Hope that makes sense!  The only problem I experienced with the accessibility stylesheet was having the tag hidden when I wanted it showing.

Attaching the Accessibility style sheet solved the problem in 2 seconds flat.
