Post by piratos »

Fatal error: Smarty error: [in preview:cmspreviewY9UpnB line 229]: syntax error: unrecognized tag: size: 21cm 29.7cm; margin: 2cm (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 436) in /opt/lampp/htdocs/beta3/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1088
This or nearly this are the errors with Linux (Mozilla and Firefox ).

Piratos: This is already fixed in svn.  The real problem was that the constructor was getting overridden and not calling the base construtor first.  So
The Screenshot from  the daily - version (this morning 10:30), fresh installed cms, first start.

The installer doesn't clean the cache (it assumes a fresh install).  Clear it and you should be fine.

I get the same errors and clearing the cache through admin or manually does nothing. Any other ideas out there ?

Greg, make sure you're not logged into the CMS when you're clearing the cache. I've found thata new instance of the screen you're in is created.

FCKeditor must store the style XML locally however as no amount of refreshing after editing that file makes any difference. I HATE having to clear my browser cache because there's no easy way to just delete those items you want gone.

And, wishy, I know you've got bigger bugs on your plate and I hate to be a pain and repeat myself but I am getting no scrollbars at all in the 10 beta2 admin under IE6 and the Page Alias still doesn't appear until I re-open the page for editing. Just so you know... ;)

The Page Alias thing is fixed.  I'll pass the scrollbars thing on the WiseQ (you do mean beta3, right?)

Yeah, that's fixed as of this morning (I hope).  Need it tested, though, since I never saw the original bug.

Changeset 1729 changed the error .. looks like you are on the right track wishy. Now I get the following:
{nocache:fbc65207f79d7925a83ce8de45c1adb0#0}
LayersMenu Error: setTpldir: d:\aaaweb\cms\modules\PHPLayers\phplayers/d:\aaaweb\cms\modules\PHPLayers/phplayers/templates/ is not a directory.
Halted.
localhost on WindowsXP Pro, PHP Version 4.3.11, Apache 1.3.33, MySQL 4.0.24 in IE 6 and Firefox 1.0.4

I'm just curious but why are people not using the wonderful {bulletmenu} in place of the awful PHPLayers?

Not trying to blow my own trumpet here but with a little styling you can produce very elegant and dynamic menus.

No javascript. No accessibility issues. Degrades beautifully. Cross-browser friendly.

e.g. http://d81214.i50.quadrahosting.com.au

I love this plugin.
