Different template per language??? IMPORTANT!!!

Post by vdn »

Hello

i am using CMS Multilingual and i made my whole site in 1 language already,
i need to use a different template for each language (because i need to use different images etc)

now i wanted to add content for the other languages,
and suddenly i noticed you can only use the same template for each language???

Is there a way to use a different template for a different language PLEASE

Else my boss will kill me

vdn,

every page can have it's own template attached. As you have to have a different (content)page per page per language, you're able to attach a different template to the other language. If you're talking about different stylesheets, instead of templates, you'll might check the stylesheetswitcher. I don't know what kind of images you want to have differently, (pictures or background f.e.)

Anyway, you're able to make a copy of every page for every language and attach a different template to it.

Mm no.. CMS Multilingual has all the languages in 1 page (eg. Home)

You can edit a page with a specific language by clicking on the flag..

(so you have 1.1 Home  EN / NL / FR)

And it appears you can't have a different template for each flag.. (because it's actually the same page)

vdn,

in that case it is the same page, but you can use the stylesheetswitcher to change the looks and images if that can be done through css.
