CMS HELP

Post by M4TT »

Hi,
I have just installed you software on my server.  It all looks great however I have a site which was made for me in php and from that I have taught myself basic PHP knowledge.

My website is a portal for estate agents and individuals to advertise there houses on my site, etc etc im sure you get the picture.
I want to add a partners section so that other people can have a similar site to mine, but all sites to run off of the same database.

The reason for this is when someone adds a property to my site, it appears on there's, and vice versa.

I want them to be able to change certain areas of there site, but for obvious reason I cant provide them with the ftp details.

So I thought that I could use a CMS so that they could log in and change parts I have authorised them to do.

Is there a way for me to edit the cms to use my site rather than the one you have created.

by the way my server only has 2 php databases they run the following:

1) Property Database
1)Forum database, CMS, Helpdesk

I hope you can help

Regards
Matthew Smith

You can use a UDT to include PHP (and access a database, etc.) in your pages/templates.
There also is an {embed} tag (and the pi_iframe and fetchurl plugins) to show the application inside the page.
