This is what comes from using cataloger.
When i put this url in from the code, i get a 404 error.
Is there any reason that the cataloger is not creating the image when i upload it?

Hi,
The Cataloger project page states the project is in alpha stage. However, I installed version 0.5.3 on cmsmadesimple-1.0.4 for a quick test and image uploads/thumbnails seem to work fine for both cataloger categories and items.
The files got uploaded in uploads/images/catalog and uploads/images/catalog_src (in the webroot) and the (working) image URL's look the same as in your example:
