Smarty error - unable to read resource

Hi,

I installed a new theme by andreas01 template. but itseems to give me back this error - string(59) "Smarty error: unable to read resource: "globalcontent:side"" - on the 3rd column.

and most of the templates give this error somewher or the other. i hav the latest downloaded version of cmsms n i'm on linux.

Did you check your global content statement carefully?

{global_content name='footer'}

Note the underscore between global and content.

Goto "Content",

Select "Global Content Blocks",

Click on "Add Global Content Block ",

Give the new global content block the name "side", and the add in the text you want.

That is it.
