Tags for booksmarks that filter out certain categories on the add form

Post by carasmo »

Hello,

So far I installed CMSMS and WOW. It's fantastic!

I've installed the bookmarks mod/extension as a links directory and have many different categories,  I'm creating pages like so:

Code: Select all

 {cms_module module="bookmarks" columns="1" category="tampa restaurants" summaries="true"}  {cms_module module="bookmarks" addform="true"}
I'm creating a page for each category and I'd like to make it easier for people to add their links in that category by having...

A. The current category is already highlighted in the form as the default category.

B. The form itself is created and it filters out the non-related categories

Like for example:

There's Tampa restaurants, Tampa Health Food stores, St. Petersburg Restaurants, etc., and there's a long, long list of categories, but it's a pain in the rear to scroll through to find the category it should default to, which is the page where the user intends to add the listing. Like DMOZ, you navigate to the page and section you want to be on, and then click add link.

Any suggestions?

Is there a extension/mod specifically for a yahoo like directory with child directories/categories?

Thanks!!!!
