A Few Questions About CMS Made Simple

Post by gregoryjameswood »

Hi I have a few questions before I commit to using this CMS. I've read the features list but can you help with the following items:

- Is the output to W3C web standards? validated to xhtml transitional?

- Is there a forum plugin that allows members/readers of the cms to post in without a separate login account?

- Can members/readers of the site have their own account area, where they can add icons for their forum posts, check their messages etc.

Would it be possible (with or without plugin modules) to do these above things with this CMS?

Thanks a bunch.

Up to you, if you write a template that is standards compliant then it will be. (wysiwygs have a bad habbit of braking this tho)

without login? there is a forum made simple module and comments module you might want to look at both and test them to see which one suits your needs

frontendusers has something, havent checked the latest beta but I think it has image support, and I heard rumours of new version in near future...
