Editors on the Mac Safari

I know the third party editors are less than terrific on the Mac in Safari, but Xinha actually works about 90%.

It appears like these are totally shut off in the CMSMS code for the gekko engine (Firefox is OK). Where would I find the code for this?

Some editor is better than no editor, so I would like to switch them on.
