I need to create a business directory for a new website using CMSMS 1.0.4. The directory will be fairly simple with a few fields for each listing ie Business name, description, contact details etc - option to add logo.
I can see that the cataloger module would handle this ok and have also noticed there is a module called "Company Directory". Because cataloger is more widely used, I thought that might be the one to use but I actually need to be able to have a separate search box on the home page - 'search the business directory' - and also a search engine for the whole site. - so two separate search facilities.
Ideally using the same search box and you select radio button - either whole website or business directory - but if this isn't possible perhaps two separate search boxes. Is this possible and if so, can anyone advise the best way to go...
I also need to display the 'latest listings' on the home page, maybe 2-3 of the latest entries. Not sure if cataloger does this...?
