0.10beta3

Post by Ted »

Well, it's released.  I know there are going to be some problems, but we need to get them ironed out.  Please make sure you post bugs either here or in the bug tracker.

Known issues:
- phplayers has been reverted to an older version for this release
- translations are no where near done, particularly for modules.  I'm going to ask for these now that most of the modules should be finalized
- news is still missing some error messages.  I'll get them in shortly.
- Old themes will not work.  If you're having issues, set your theme in user prefs to "default" before posting a bug.

Thanks for your impatience.  It helps keep us in line and we know that you really DO care.  :)

Enjoy!

Hi Wishy.
With a fresh install of beta 3 (including a new database) phplayers doesn't show a menu at all. After doing the phplayers upgrade from the admin console I only get a link to the home page(no dropdowns) and the following error messages.
Template Error: filename: file ./libjs/layersmenu-header.ijs does not exist.
Template Error: loadfile: While loading tplfile, does not exist or is empty.
Template Error: subst: unable to load tplfile.
Template Error: filename: file ./libjs/layersmenu-footer.ijs does not exist.
Template Error: loadfile: While loading tplfile, does not exist or is empty.
Template Error: subst: unable to load tplfile.
Viewing source shows no JS being loaded for PHPLayers...

Greg: Hmm.  That's the problem I was having that made me revert the code back.  I think I might have screwed it up.  Well, I'll see if I can make any progress on it this weekend and release a beta4.

Thanks!

I have the same problem with an ugrade....
I also changed the menu from PHPlayery to bulletmenu and still get the error.
I notice that the

are still in the html head even with bulletmenu - is that normal?

Pat: Thanks.  You know my memory.  If it's not on a list, I forget about it.  Send over the new pack and I'll make sure I put it in when I get it.  :)

John: I THOUGHT I included 1.1 with beta3.  Something must have gotten messed up.  Intersol is looking at it now, so I'll probably get a beta4 out at the end of the weekend.

Wishy in changeset 1716 you say it is working ?
I'm still getting:
Template Error: filename: file ./libjs/layersmenu-header.ijs does not exist.
Template Error: loadfile: While loading tplfile, does not exist or is empty.
Template Error: subst: unable to load tplfile.
Template Error: filename: file ./libjs/layersmenu-footer.ijs does not exist.
Template Error: loadfile: While loading tplfile, does not exist or is empty.
Template Error: subst: unable to load tplfile.
update:
Went back to version 1.1 of phplayers and the menu only shows 'Home' no submenus ??

Let me first say that the new default administration theme looks terrific!

I have some problems with other WYSIWYG editors than TinyMCE for the content pages.

For HTMLArea the Main/Options tabs do not work. Everything shows up under Main.
When tooltipping the HTMLArea toolbar, a glimps of the content is shown to the left of original.

For FCKEditor the textarea is so small that only the toolbars are visible (and not the editable area.

Third: Translation of the Main and Options tabs should be included in the lang files.

Just upgraded from 0.9.2 and when clicking "needs upgrade" on mews module i get

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getdisplayhtmltemplate() in /etc/etc/etc/CMS/modules/News/News.module.php on line 225

Other than this it looks great!!

JAH: Regarding the strange HTMLArea effect "When tooltipping the HTMLArea toolbar, a glimpse of the content is shown to the left of original." - are you using Firefox? I had the same effect (also with TinyMCE occasionally) - I just tried IE and it didn't occur....

I get the same FCKEditor problem

Right, the HTMLArea flickering is appearing only in Firefox, but IE shows the error icon. The error is: Unknown runtime error line 1075, character 4.

However, the Main and Options tab problem remains in both browsers.
