Slow loading speed

Hi,

I am experiencing very slow loading speed since installation - up to 30 seconds and sometimes even more. Front-end and back-end are affected. What puzzles me is: it is not consistently slow. It might load as well in normal speed.

I am using CMS made simple version 0.13 and my website is: www.blulu.de

Verification: I verified it a while ago and made only minor changes since then.

I did not create any tags, modules or anything else that might affect the compilation of the php.

To check if my provider is maybe the cause, I uploaded the same content (without formatting and background, etc.) as a static page and it was loaded within a split second. 
I tested the website also from different computers and networks. Same problem.

Can anybody help me?

Hmm, sometimes it could be helpful (a little bit) to delete all unused modules / tags / translations.

Perhaps you should check your provider - the reason for such differences could be a critical server load (too many users / accounts on the same server).

Yep sounds like a server issue, it loaded at the slowest 2.45... seconds then went faster from there.

The background and header images are very small so they aren't slowing it down and Sommerschmuck loads fast 0.192503 seconds with images.

Clicking first image on Sommerschmuck page generates it in 0.548399 seconds.

I'm having exactly the same kinds of issues (seemingly random backend and frontend delays from 1 sec to 30 secs reported time) with two of my CMSMS sites hosted on the same shared server hosting solution provided by BlueGenesis.com (I picked them because they offer combined ASP/PHP in one package which I prefer). 

www.posseproject.ca is one

I know that when I installed CMSMS the installation complained of only having adequate memory.

Any ideas on a better hosting solution?  I was hoping for one with a good reseller package program and ASP / PHP options.

Any other ideas?  I'm not sure which modules I can disable from the standard 1.02 installation other than News.
