Shopping Cart recommendation?

Does anybody have suggestions for a PHP/MySQL shopping cart?  I've been using x-cart for the past few years but it's too much for a smaller applications.  I'd love to get some ideas from y'all.

I saw that there is a Zen Cart integration to CMSMS in the works. If that project goes well, I guess that would be my first pick. Zen Cart is very powerful and stable, and is absolutely a candidate to have in mind.

I don't know when there will be anything to try out though.

I'm not necessarily looking for a cart that integrates with CMS Made Simple, I'd like to get a line on quality stand alone cart as well.
